Bored on the Range is owned and operated by a photographer who has lived on working ranches in Texas and New Mexico most of her life. All of the illustrations were created using photographs she has taken. The inspiration for the educational and activity books came from the creator's desire to homeschool her own cowboy kid. The creator behind Bored on the Range currently lives on a working cattle ranch in Texas.
